About Marsh Machining

A student’s shop.
A maker’s mindset.

CNC router in the Gainesville workshop

THE SHORT VERSION

Built in Gainesville for people who need something made.

Marsh Machining is a UF student-run shop for CNC routing, 3D printing, design help, and custom projects.

I started the shop because I like taking an idea or a real-world problem and turning it into a finished object. That might be a replacement part, the first version of a new product, a colorful 3D print, or a carved sign for someone’s wall.

Being a student keeps the shop resourceful and flexible. I understand budgets, deadlines, and ideas that change after you see the first version. The goal is good work and clear communication without making the process intimidating.

01

Accessible

You do not need to speak machinist or arrive with perfect CAD.

02

Thoughtful

Every project starts with understanding what the part needs to do.

03

Local

Direct communication and hands-on work from a Gainesville shop.

04

Curious

Unusual, experimental, and artistic projects are genuinely welcome.

Students, labs, startups, businesses, and neighbors welcome.

Let’s make the
next version real.
